Fast Food Giant McDonalds Installs Hundreds Of Kiosks Throughout Europe

Despite President Barack Obama claiming that the usage of a kiosk and touch screen technological innovation is responsible for the increase in lack of employment, McDonalds argues they will not be letting any employees go regardless of setting up a huge selection of kiosks across the chain of stores.

The fast food giant is investing in in excess of 840 kiosks across its branches in Europe but has declared that even though its wide deployment of self-service technologies they’re not going to replace human jobs.

The restaurant chain, which is using kiosks in countries like France and the UK to enable customers to order meals on their own without staff help, has confirmed that self-order kiosks much like an internet kiosk, are not designed to replace front-counter support.

By guaranteeing this, even in other trade sectors like government, transport and retail kiosk, the client can choose whether they need to use man or machine.

The franchise spokesperson said that deploying kiosks isn’t about decreasing costs but instead providing better customer service. McDonald’s explained how the kiosks are not designed to greatly reduce staff numbers but increase overall experience and help the business grow.

Give customers additional time in the ordering process for your own restaurant by deploying touch screen technology through the help of Protouch.
